Mise En Scene
The mise en scene is a quote that we see almost everywhere related to films and videos. Mise en scene incudes everything that a movie requires such as Shot Composition,Sets,Props,lighitng, and Costumes, as stated on StudioBinder. When the mise en scene is properly used , it has the ability of changing moving pictures into an art form which highlights the idea of a good movie.
The actors performances in any scene of a movie is the key for the mise en scene to work as they are the main focus and their presence is the meaning why the overall story looks good on the screens. The location's chosen for the scene's are capable of setting the mood of the story. If there is a man singing in a shopping centre , it's different from when singing on a stage , so choosing the perfect setting can set a different tone to the location.
Composition is the selection and placement of frames and angles in a camera that make up a perfect shot. The importance of composition is a huge factor in the mise en scene as it can emphasize emotional parts of the story and communicates in a way that the meaning of is an interest to the audience.
